Nash confirmed for 2017 TCR International Series

James Nash will return to the TCR International Series having re-signed for the 2016 team champions Craft Bambooo Racing. Milton Keynes, UK-based Nash who finished second in the 2016 driver standings will again race a SEAT Leon for the Silverstone-UK team backed by Lukoil, Profile Auto and a new partner, P1 Motorsport.

James Nash:

“I’m really pleased to have signed for Craft Bamboo Lukoil SEAT. Together we came so close to winning the driver’s title last season, my first in touring cars after two years away racing in GT’s. I felt we had really gelled as a team towards the end of last season and had real momentum so its great that we’re going to be able to continue together.”

“I know that we’ll face fierce competition this year. In readiness the team has been hard at work over the winter trying to find time in the SEAT Leon and making improvements to what was already a very strong car. I’ve been working hard too on my own personal fitness and I don’t think I’ve ever felt as ready and excited for a racing season ahead as I do right now. I am so determined to go one better than last year and win the TCR International driver’s championship title.
